Getting Started
For desktop applications, we recommend Windows 10 or later with at least 8GB RAM and a modern processor. For mobile applications, Android 8.0+ or iOS 13+ is required. Our web applications require Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browsers, with JavaScript enabled.
Server components require PostgreSQL 12+, 16GB RAM minimum, and quad-core processors. Full specifications are available in our System Requirements Guide.
Implementation timelines vary based on agency size and complexity. Small agencies (under 50 users) typically complete implementation within 6-8 weeks. Medium agencies (50-200 users) usually require 10-14 weeks. Large agencies (200+ users) may need 16-20 weeks.
This includes data migration, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. Our project managers work closely with each agency to develop customized implementation plans.
Yes! We offer comprehensive demonstration environments that showcase all platform capabilities. Additionally, qualifying agencies can participate in our pilot program which provides temporary access to full-feature environments for evaluation.
Contact our sales team to schedule a personalized demo or to discuss eligibility for our pilot program. We also provide extensive trial documentation and sample datasets to support evaluation efforts.
We provide multiple training options to suit your needs: instructor-led virtual classes, on-site workshops, self-paced online courses, and role-specific training paths. New users receive baseline training as part of implementation. Refresher courses and advanced certifications are available year-round.
All training sessions include hands-on practice with your agency's configured environment where possible. We also maintain an extensive knowledge base with video tutorials and quick reference guides.
Account Management
To reset your password, navigate to the login screen and click "Forgot Password". Enter your email address associated with your account and we'll send password reset instructions immediately.
If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. For urgent access issues, contact your system administrator or our support team directly.
Users can update personal information like contact details through the Profile section in their account settings. System administrators can update user roles, permissions, and department assignments through the User Management console.
For changes requiring administrative privileges (role changes, permission modifications, etc.), contact your system administrator who can make these updates centrally.
Accounts may be locked after multiple failed login attempts or inactivity exceeding your agency's security policy. Contact your system administrator who can unlock your account. For emergencies when your administrator is unavailable, contact our support team who can assist with account recovery.
To prevent future lockouts, ensure you're using correct credentials and that your account doesn't remain inactive beyond your agency's timeout period.
Technical Issues
Slow performance can result from several factors: outdated browser versions, slow internet connections, insufficient system resources, or server issues. Try these steps:
- Refresh your browser and clear cache
- Close unnecessary applications
- Check your internet connection speed
- Try a different browser
If performance issues persist, check the status page or contact support with specific details about the problem including timing, affected modules, and user counts.
Network disconnections may be caused by firewall settings, bandwidth limitations, or server maintenance. For mobile users, connectivity often improves when switching to stronger cellular networks or WiFi.
Check with your IT department regarding firewall exceptions for our domains (*wildlandstech.org). Mobile users should enable "sync on reconnect" in settings to preserve unsynced data. Persistent issues should be reported to technical support with detailed logs.
Mobile Data
Offline capabilities are automatically enabled in our mobile application. When your device detects no internet connection, it seamlessly switches to offline mode, storing all entered data locally until reconnection.
Before entering areas of poor connectivity, ensure recent updates have synced to your device. Upon reconnection, reports sync automatically. You can manually trigger sync anytime through the sync button. Review conflicted reports if notified after syncing.
Application updates require an active internet connection but never delete your saved data. During update installation, users lose access temporarily and must restart the application.
Important: Always connect to reliable WiFi before updating to avoid excessive data consumption. Users are prompted to sync all local changes before critical updates. For automatic updates, ensure app store permissions allow background downloads on stable networks.
